Strike III

Do what Reagan did: Terminate all of the striking MTA employees, privatize the entire transit system (It used to be privately owned). Then put the jobs on the open market, screen for the best candidates, train them, and offer them reasonable pensions and health care benefits like most private sector employees have.

The system is clearly broken and until radical steps are taken, both the MTA and the MTU will continue to outdo each other with unbelievable incompetence.
