What is Canada’s age of consent?
The age of consent is 18 years where the sexual activity involves exploitative activity, such as prostitution, pornography or where there is a relationship of trust, authority or dependency. For other sexual activity, the age of consent is 14 years.
So all those teachers sleeping with their students here in the US and getting arrested for it...what do the Canadians make of it?

well the teachers are "in a position of trust, authority, or control" and so it's a crime unless the student is 18. i took a whole course on sexual offences and i've yet to recover my trust in people.
