Some very interesting choices, some are not my cup of tea but i just would like to say that including Helen mirren & angie dickinson shows your refined taste.
You couldve posted a picture of Helen Mirren in her heydays of the seventies & 80's, but does Gina gershon sing now or what?
I was also surprised you included claire danes & not gwyneth paltrow.
but what about Halle Berry? surely zhang cant merit a place & berry is out of it!!! There must be an explanation
It's interesting because Mirren was stunning in the 70s and 80s (think Caligula and later, Prime Suspect). But I'm simply amazed at how hot she is at 60-something. Angie Dickinson is simply one of the sexiest women who ever lived.
Something about Claire Danes stops me in my tracks. Gwyneth Paltrow has a very 'white' body: not enough curves and a lumbering presence, goofy presence. Not a big fan.
Halle Berry is INSANELY hot, but she has one thing working against her: I hate her friggin' guts. She is the epitomy of shallowness, self-involvement and narcissm...which, considering she's in a profession that produces it's fair share of these attributes, takes some doing. She also has no sense of humor about herself, which is an absolute, non-negotiable point for me when I'm weighing out a woman's beauty. I can't stand women like that.
That's part of the reason I didn't include J-Lo, who is crazy hot as well, as well as a very underrated actress.
You have, from what I can see, a pretty varied taste in women. Very interesting... I think I broke my fast.
Hmmm, if we were talking personas here, i am sure some of those included are also shallow & with no humour, i actually didnt know that about halle, is she really all that?? I wouldve included debra winger & cybill shepheard, who are still damn sexy for their age...personality wise i think they are pretty good too...i wouldnt have included then catherine bell, dont like her attitude or persona.
what about Jennifer Garner? Nia Long?? damn this can really take ages but pretty cool too :-)
How could Scarlett Johanssen, Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba not make this list?
and really, if we're talking refinement...candice bergen. i would fully do her.

Let me see: Forsooth. I agree, Candace is/ was a hottie but she looks a little frumpy now. Like she embraced her inner housewife. Not good..
Jokerman: Garner's a retard and she's goofy as hell, with an over-worked upper body. Nice lips though. Nia Long is flawless but she just lacks an edge to her.
GC: Scarlett Johannson is a flavor-of-the-day. great tits, great lips, awful nose and her voice isn't sultry, it's chokey. She's just not that interesting. Angelina Jolie falls under the same camp as Pam Anderson. So beautiful, it's clear she's an android. Plus, she has an awful body without clothes on: see Gia, if you need proof. Jessica Alba is stunning but...and it's a bias that I have: I don't like girls, I like women. She looks like a girl, all the time. Sensuality is a hard art to master, ladies..
To comment on your comments - Claire Danes is beautiful.. subtle sexiness which is very attractive. And yeah Gwyneth Paltrow annoys me - too "sweet" in an unconvincing way.
And J-Lo, although also annoys the hell out of me, is indeed an underrated actress. Or was. I feel when she started singing she might have lost the acting talent she once had. I still listen to really corny Selena songs coz of the movie - even though it was a bad movie!
Also, Penelope Cruz missed out because I consider Paz Vega a better looking version of her.
