The comedian and me

I dated a comedian a couple of months ago and she turned out to be gay. She was in the process of dealing with it and I was totally cool about the whole thing. Anyways, she was visiting yesterday and left her email on. This is a portion of one email that specifically references me.

It really shouldn't bother me, but it does. I actually think most man would be bothered by this. We believe in our own virility and without it..we're less than men.

Oh well. I can't fuck my way to glory, I guess.

Hey, be glad that she's gay. Her being bored clearly has everything to do with her sexual preference, and nothing to do w/ you personally. If all else fails, you can apply the "I was too much of a man for her" theory.

no you cannot.
But then, if she was lesbian, i doubt if any man would've entertained her, she obviously doesnt know what she wants.

Oh my GOD your life it just too funny! I think it is the most hilarious thing that some men get turned on by the thought of lesbians. Like they are just women that are hard up for a man. Certainly do not take it personally that you bored her. I'm sure that you would be a good lay for any straight woman that is able to get past your Quasimoto features!

Oh, I'm not worried about how I am with other women. I just found it interesting that being characterized as "boring" by one girl (gay or not) bothered me as much as it did. It's a testament to male insecurity and hyper-competitiveness.

It's silly that I got bothered and yet it also makes sense.
