Mothers as furniture

In the old days, when you wanted to take some baby pictures, you kind of faced a bit of a problem. Prop the baby on the chair and he/ she are likely to take a nasty spill and break their head. Tying them to said chair was also a non-starter because, even back then, there were laws against that kind of thing.

The solution? The baby would sit on the mother's lap while the old lady posed as a chair! Apparently, this was standard practice and not seen as weird or eerie in any way. Check out the picture above and thank your lucky stars we don't live in the days when life was black and white and people never smiled.

Wow, that's pretty damn scary. Thank God we have places like Kiddie Kandids today where big fuzzy rabbits, instead of headless bodies, prop up babies.

Anything's ok. I run this blog the way I'd run a club: few rules, lots of fun.
