My Outsourced Life by A.J. Jacobs

This article is too funny. It's based on a breed of new companies in India who offer Western professionals (not that they have to be either to hire them) an opportunity to hire a personal assistant to help with research, presentations, bookings etc for a very reasonable monthly fee. The article is written with great humor and verve but the undertones are serious: if America doesn't get it's shit together, it'll be overtaken by countries like India and Korea.

Tom Friedman made the same point in his excellent book about globalization, The World is Flat.
Thanks to Chris DiClerico for this one.
