Sagacious: Having or showing keen discernment, sound judgment, and farsightedness.

Veritable: Being truly so called; real or genuine.

Titular: 1. Derived from the title. 2. Existing in name only; nominal.

Avuncular: Resembling an uncle, especially in kindness or indulgence.

Parable: A simple story illustrating a moral or religious lesson.

Gormless: Lacking intelligence and vitality; dull.

Sycophant: A flatterer, someone who acts obsequiously towards someone else.

Morass: Something that hinders, engulfs, or overwhelms.

Adroit: Dexterous; deft.

Moribund: 1. Approaching death; about to die. 2. On the verge of becoming obsolete
