The Unburdened Truth
1. Intellectualism is overrated.
2. Romance is illogical, unscientific. It should be treated that way.
3. Words, often, don't match our actions. Expect this.
4. Moral structure is a man-made invention. And it is strained through the act of living.
5. Fidelity is an optimistic ideal. Admirable, but optimistic.
6. Skeletons in the closet are better left unexamined.
7. Pure optimism belongs to the very young or the very detached.
8. Cynicism is a snowball that grows with age.
9. Advancing years bring increased baggage.
10. The more you know, the more knowing can paralyze you.
