Duck Season

I just saw a terrific little Mexican film called TEMPORADA DE PATOS or "Duck Season", from the stable of Fernando Eimbecke. It's about a lazy Sunday afternoon for a few Mexican teenagers who order pizza, bake brownies and start discovering adult feelings.

It's simply a gem and represents another major stepping stone for Mexican cinema, which has given us some terrific performers like Gael Garcia Bernal, directors like Alfonso Cuaron and movies like "Y Tu Mama Tambien".
