This song makes me miss Egypt

Listen to it on my audio thing, just below my links. It really does tug at the heart strings. What do you think of it? Doesn't it just sum up how maddening it is to love a place like Egypt, despite all the dislike we have for it's many flaws? It's a dichotomy I've never really been able to satisfactorily reconcile.

Listen to the song and let me know what you think.

Sure, Zoss hooked me up when I posted the same question earlier this month. Here:

Zoss said: "You can definitely upload your own stuff to Odeo. With a (free) OdeoStudio account, you can upload your material to your recordings page. Unlimited number of files, 50mb each. Not only that, but you can also use OdeoStudio to record your stuff."

It's the standard song to put you into deep nostalgia for Egypt. Dunno how to describe it.. but every note is a cry of genuine Egyptian passion

3aida el ayooby (Aida el Ayoobi). If you like it, send me your email address and I'll email it to you-it's not a big file.

it's an intense song. the father of a friend of mine has been living in france for ages and he refuses to listen to it. he says he's afraid it'll make him break down.
