I mean that in a football sense, but judging by his wife, Sylvie Meis, he ain't doing too badly in that department either. Anyways, Van Der Vaart has it all: pace, power, technique, inspiration, bravery and leadership. The only thing he doesn't have is a decent team in a decent league: he plays for Hamburg in the Bundesliga.

I'm hoping Hamburg will continue to stutter so an English team (Arsenal? Tottenham?) will pick him up in the winter transfer window. He's easily worth whatever money they pay for him. Remember where you read this: in the next four years, he'll be a contender for world player of the year.
