Does it bother anyone else, among the spectacle-wearing fraternity (and sorority), that most of the time, you need a pair of glasses in order to actually find your glasses?

hell yes.
I also need glasses to find my contacts most of the time. Once, when my wife was away, I actually had to call into work to tell them I was going to be late because I couldn't find my specs and I didn't have her 20:20 vision to help me.
si. and it's always oh-so-funny to boyfriends who move my glasses just enough for me to completely lose my sense of place, so that i end up patting around the room gingerly, looking like a(n even bigger) dork.
