Cosmic Love

If you've ever seen the brilliant documentary "Trekkies", you'll be very familiar with the, shall we say, less-than-sane obsessions some people have with Star Trek. Especially that of pairing up characters from the show in same-sex/ different sex/ human-android combos. They meet weekly and exchange pictures, paintings, poems, songs, short stories, novels, novellas, comics and other forms of art they've come up with celebrating the coupling of Enterprise characters. The Spock/ Kirk pairing is one of the most popular.

That's not to say that their particular form of sanity is any worse than mine. For instance, I like eating powdered milk.

With that preface, here's a site I stumbled upon that is devoted to stories/ visuals/ themes where Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock are sexually involved. Homoreroticism in popular culture is as old as (if not older) than Bob Kane's Batman but, it's never been as popular and widespread as it is with Star Trek. You could say they've "boldly gone" where no other pop culture icons have gone before.

Some images are more graphic than others, others are more weird than some but this site is generally tamer than most. In all cases, this is proof that the human race is completely off it's trolley.
