I profiled Franck Ribery of Les Bleus before, as the ugliest world cup star and one of the best, on the field. This little tidbit about him surprised me.
"Ribery plays for Marseille, the club Zidane supported as a boy, and like the playmaker, is Muslim, having converted to Islam when he married his wife Wahiba."
