Heil Mein Fuhrer
Is it me or does this game character remind you of an Aryan comic book character from the 1930s? The US flag on his arm adds to his propoganda and is the hallmark of a fascist regime trying to inject a 'character paradigm' into the mainstream cultural consciousness.
It gives me the creeps.
After the Call of Duty screen, my paranoia has had the humour sucked out it. All I'm left with is a sinister view of things.

:) Did you find out anything else about the creators? Hubby thinks he read an article about them being Egyptian.
No, I emailed them (as well as the New York Times) and didn't hear back from Activision. The NYT wrote me an email saying they had referred the matter to their 'foreign' desk, which I didn't quite get: I'm not foreign, the game isn't foreign and neither is Activision. Maybe the foreign thing is me expecting someone to take notice.
